Job Summary
Special Education Teacher – Structured Skills in a Portland-area school district. Required Qualifications
- A valid Oregon teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement from the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) is required upon hiring
- Must be designated as highly qualified by TSPC and the State of Oregon to teach CORE subject if in CORE academic area
- Ability to prepare effectively for class
- Ability to develop and communicate grading standards
- Maintain positive interpersonal relationships
- Document student progress
- Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching methods and state curriculum framework
- Ability to show proof of COVID vaccination
