Job Summary
Paraprofessional role in Special Education Tier 3 at Winnetonka High School: provide instructional and behavioral support in regular or self-contained classrooms, assist with implementing IEP goals, model skills for students, supervise students during various settings, administer immediate first aid and health-care support (diapering, feeding, medication, diabetes management, etc.), assist with routine clerical tasks, prepare instructional materials and research-based lessons, and communicate with instructional staff to support student progress and safety.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Sixty college hours
- Paraprofessional test in Missouri or Missouri 20-hour Online Substitute Training Program
- Medication Administration trained as needed
- CPR/First Aid Certificate
- MANDT trained as needed
- Criminal Background Clearance
- Continuing Education/Training: Maintains Certificates and/or Licenses
