2026-27 School Nurse

Provide nursing care to students and staff, promote safety and wellness, and interpret medical terminology for professional staff. Plan procedures for medical advice, maintain health and immunization records per state requirements, and screen all students to identify and prevent health problems. Interpret public health policies to restrict communicable disease spread, consult with parents regarding children's health needs, instruct others in health practices, and direct, supervise, and assess health duties performed by health aides. Requires a valid RN license.
