Job Summary
Property Control Technician II responsible for directing day-to-day property control operations, conducting physical inventories to verify equipment quantities and locations, and identifying losses. Roles include evaluating equipment condition for demolition/auction/dump, maintaining accounting files and records, processing purchasing-related information, providing leadership to subordinates, reconciling data, researching discrepancies, and responding to inquiries from internal and external sources. The position supports the Finance operations and reports to the Director of Budget & Finance and/or Internal Auditor. Requires strong attention to detail, data analysis, compliance with purchasing regulations, and effective communication across diverse groups.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 credit hours of college math or equivalent
- Criminal Background Clearance
- Valid Arizona DPS Level I IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Pre-Employment Mathematics Test
- Departmental Accounting Test
