Job Summary
Provide school-based physical therapy services to scholars, including evaluating needs to inform educational access and developing/implementing individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals. Deliver direct and consultative therapy in classrooms and school settings, collaborate with teachers and families, monitor progress, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with special education regulations. Support safe mobility, positioning, and use of adaptive equipment; participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to whole-child development. Part-time role (10 hours/week max) with SC LLR licensure required for PT/PTA; pediatric/school-based experience preferred; compensation $50–$75/hour (annualized: $104,000–$156,000). Required Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- South Carolina LLR required for PT/ PTA; Valid out-of-state certification is also acceptable
