2026-27 Part-Time Kitchen Assistant (open until filled)

Part-Time Kitchen Assistant supports school-food-service operations: prepares food for breakfast or lunch, keeps production records, adjusts recipes for quantities, serves food and acts as cashier, monitors National School Lunch Program guidelines, cleans and stores leftovers, and follows safety procedures. Works under the Food Service Supervisor and Kitchen Supervisor, handling basic math, confidentiality, and cooperative teamwork in a school-term role. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for periods; job requires adherence to sanitation and health guidelines. Location is Harrisburg, SD, on-site.
