Job Summary
Support food service operations at Echo Mountain Primary School as Nutrition & Wellness Worker I; assist with food preparation, equipment cleaning, storage, inventory, meal counting, records, and compliance with health requirements and the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). Coordinate with Kitchen Manager and staff to ensure safe, sanitary food service, serve meals to meet nutritional requirements, maintain logs and production reports, and assist with inspections and deliveries as needed. Strong teamwork, adherence to safety practices, basic math, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a school kitchen environment are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Food Handler’s Card
- Criminal Background Clearance
- Valid Arizona DPS Level I IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
