Job Summary
Deliver direct instruction to middle school students while developing and submitting lesson plans that align with Einstein's curriculum guidelines. Collaborate with administrators, colleagues, and parents to analyze data, refine instructional goals, and implement individualized educational plans for students with IEPs or 504s. Manage classroom discipline using the PBIS model, supervise assigned para-educators during small group instruction, and oversee student attendance and lunch duties. Submit all required materials to the Head of School's Office on time and actively participate in professional development, staff committees, and in-services to support continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills
- Belief in the mission and values of Einstein Charter Schools
- Commitment to Einstein Charter Schools students, families, and staff
- Willingness to do whatever it takes to help our students reach excellence
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate
- The ability to fulfill the responsibilities listed above
