Job Summary
Assist in coaching middle school volleyball at New Mark Middle School, including helping plan and schedule regular in-season practice, coordinating with the athletic director and Head Coach on interscholastic contests, recommending equipment purchases, maintaining attendance and insurance records, ensuring facility safety, establishing performance criteria for eligibility, enforcing sportsmanlike behavior, and assisting in organizing the total sports program. Requires a valid Missouri teacher or substitute certificate issued through DESE; preferred prior coaching experience in volleyball. Regular attendance and adherence to district rules are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Missouri teacher or substitute certificate issued through DESE.
- Preferred previous coaching experience in assigned sport.
- Possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and physical attributes necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
