Job Summary
Spanish language middle school teaching position focused on 6th-8th grade students within a Catholic school. Responsibilities include planning instruction with curriculum-based objectives, delivering instruction using diverse methods, employing formative and summative assessments, maintaining accurate records, managing classroom behavior, communicating with parents about academic, behavioral, and safety concerns, and collaborating with school staff to support Gospel values and Catholic education. Requires effective written and verbal communication, ability to work independently and with others, and proficiency with educational technology. Must uphold Catholic teachings and participate in religious ceremonies and training; flexibility to follow policies outlined in diocesan handbooks and school guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in subject taught or related field from an accredited American university, required
- Must meet the minimum requirements for teaching field as set forth by the Diocese and TCCB ED.
- Must meet staff development guidelines as set forth by the Diocese and school administration.
- Must complete Religion Certification per the guidelines of the Catholic Schools Office and TCCB ED, if applicable.
