Job Summary
Maintenance Technician II responsible for maintaining facilities in safe operating condition and supporting the educational process. duties include carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, welding, locksmith, HVAC and generator preventative maintenance, and grounds keeping; assists Maintenance Technicians III/IV and coordinates with lead/supervisor to complete projects and work orders; prepares facilities for events; maintains records and equipment; shift is 2:00pm–10:30pm; reports to Lead Person, Tech III & Tech IV; requires a high school diploma or equivalent, job-related experience, and specific certifications; 5-year driving history required; 12-month assignment in a non-interim position; 18-grade; emphasis on safety and collaboration with students, staff, and community.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Job related experience is required
- 5 year driving history from AZ Department of Motor Vehicles
- Criminal Background Clearance
- Valid Arizona DPS Level I IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Tools and equipment handling experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing, etc.)
