Job Summary

Describe and implement chronological, age-appropriate skills and activities for students with disabilities while emphasizing strengths. Provide one-to-one instruction on the job site and support students in employability skills, high school programming, and vocational remediation. Assist in determining necessary work site modifications and contact community organizations to promote training and employment opportunities. Communicate effectively with parents, agency personnel, and the business community while maintaining a positive, courteous manner. Perform routine clerical tasks, including filing and typing, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Assume responsibility for professional development and keep current with research and improved techniques. Report to the Principal at Hilton Head Island High School with a 190-day schedule.

Required Qualifications
