Job Summary
Conduct daily instruction in Grade 4 classrooms while applying best practices in curriculum, assessment, and classroom environment management. Deliver lessons that integrate knowledge of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit languages, histories, and cultures. Work independently and collaboratively within the school team to support student learning and school-wide goals. Submit a resume, three professional references, and a current criminal record check as part of the application process. This temporary position is located at Hector Thiboutot Community School in Sandy Bay.
Required Qualifications
- Saskatchewan Professional A Teacher's Certificate (or confirmation of eligibility)
- Knowledge and experience applying best practices in the areas of instruction, curriculum, environment and assessment
- Knowledge of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit languages, histories, and cultures
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team as well as independently
