Job Summary
Lead the Girls Varsity Volleyball program by organizing technical instruction, training plans, practice schedules, and competition strategies to enhance student-athlete performance. Ensure a safe, supportive environment during practices and competitions; monitor facilities and equipment; evaluate skill development and conditioning; communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, and the community; foster a positive team culture with emphasis on sportsmanship and leadership. Collaborate with coaching staff and the Athletic Director to align strategies with program goals and contribute to ongoing program development. Requires coaching experience, strong communication, a focus on safety (First Aid/CPR-AED), and the ability to mentor and collaborate with peers and administration.
Required Qualifications
- Coaching experience preferred (head coach or assistant coach in volleyball)
- First Aid, CPR/AED Certification (ability to obtain)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Commitment to safety and student-athlete well-being
- Ability to collaborate with athletic staff and Athletic Director
- Leadership and mentorship abilities
