Oversees and trains food service staff at a K-12 site to ensure safe, high-quality, and compliant meal production. Responsibilities include evaluating food quality and safety, forecasting production, maintaining HACCP logs and health department documentation, managing inventories and vendor deliveries, handling student meal accounts, supporting families in free/reduced programs, coordinating staff schedules, conducting performance evaluations, and communicating with district stakeholders to uphold USDA and district policies. Requires ServSafe Manager's Certificate, a valid driver’s license, background clearance, and ongoing USDA training; demonstrates leadership, budgeting awareness, and strong customer service in a school food service environment.
