Job Summary
Design and implement the boys basketball program at Mountain Trail Middle School, including developing practice regimes, game strategies, and team schedules. Assess student athletes for performance feedback and placement, while instructing them to promote athletic skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Oversee assistant coaches, volunteers, and student managers, providing direction and monitoring activities during all program aspects. Conduct supporting activities such as parent orientations, recognition events, and off-season clinics to promote the athletic program. Maintain records for compliance with district and state requirements, monitor academic eligibility, and respond to inquiries from parents, media, and college representatives. Serve as a liaison with the community, other schools, and organizations while modeling personal conduct and enforcing the Athletic Code of Conduct.
