Job Summary

Facilities Manager responsible for safe, clean, and efficient operation of school facilities and grounds, overseeing vendor management (HVAC, roofing, landscaping, plumbing, electrical, repairs), inspections and compliance (life-safety systems, fire extinguishers), grounds maintenance, building repairs, asset and key management, vehicle maintenance, and event support. Requires experience with vendor contracts, service agreements, work-order systems (e.g., Monday.com), and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Must supervise custodial staff, coordinate with contractors, ensure safety/compliance, and manage facility operations to support students, staff, and families.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, building maintenance)
  • Experience managing vendors, contracts, and service agreements
  • Ability to use work order management systems and technology platforms (e.g., Monday.com)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions
  • Strong organization, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Leadership and team supervision capabilities
