Job Summary
Instructs Emergent Bilingual (English Language Learner) students at the high school level, maintains a positive learning environment, translates documents and assists with lesson planning for EB students, accommodates daily work and tests for EB students, provides small-group support for state testing (WAPT and ACCESS), creates and monitors plans for EB students, contacts parents as needed, collaborates with principals, counselors and teachers, and upholds safety and discipline standards while delivering instruction aligned with state and district standards.
Required Qualifications
- Credentials: State Licensure or Certification
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Minimum)
- Completion of student teaching
- Demonstration of Content Knowledge for ESSA qualification standards
- Prefer knowledge of Spanish Language
