Job Summary
Paraprofessional in the EB program at a high school: provide classroom support under EB teacher supervision, translate documents, assist with lesson planning, conduct testing and data gathering (including WAPT and ACCESS for ELLs), contact parents for conferences and emergencies, support state testing, and help with inclusion settings and behavior/attendance follow-up.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Complete Para Pro or Workkeys Assessment or complete 48 hours of college
- Bilingual Preferred
- Training or Experience Required: Previous work or volunteer experience with children, teenagers and or clerical experience preferred.
