2026/27 Driver/ Dispatcher

Transportation Services Dispatcher for Norman Public Schools. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate daily call records, notifying schools and patrons of late arriving buses, monitoring vehicle locations via computerized satellite systems, screening daily phone communications, coordinating radio communications, creating and maintaining dispatch SOPs, and serving as liaison with Emergency Management Services; requires excellent customer service, adherence to safety policies, and ability to train and support district staff in administrative computer systems. Physical requirements include repetitive tasks, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and outdoor work as needed; position is Safety-Sensitive.
