2026-27 Diverse Learners (SPED) Teacher

Develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs in compliance with state and federal regulations. Design and deliver differentiated instruction in both pull-out and inclusion settings, while regularly assessing progress toward IEP goals to adjust teaching strategies. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive learning environments, utilizing data-driven decision-making for targeted interventions. Provide appropriate accommodations and modifications during classroom activities and assessments, and actively participate in case conferences and IEP meetings. Maintain strong relationships with students and families through ongoing communication, while staying current on best practices in special education, behavior management, and accommodations. Work with school leadership to ensure full compliance with IDEA and other regulatory deadlines.
