2026-27 CTE Culinary Teacher - Paradise Valley HS

Culinary Arts teaching position for high school students at Paradise Valley HS. Responsibilities include administering assessments, delivering group and individual instruction within established curriculum, developing lesson plans, differentiating instruction, supervising students, counseling and communicating with parents, collaborating with instructional staff, and coordinating with student teachers/volunteers. The role requires engaging pedagogical approaches, managing classroom behavior, participating in PLCs, preparing written materials, and ensuring student safety and progress. Required qualifications include an Arizona Teaching Certificate, core content area certification, SEI endorsement, and a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance; experience with assessment instruments, curriculum and instructional techniques, and maintaining confidentiality. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a job-related area.
