Job Summary
Assess student athletes for individual performance feedback and team placement while instructing them in sports techniques, rules, and strategies. Supervise all areas of participation to ensure a safe environment with minimal injury risk, and monitor academic eligibility to provide necessary intervention. Manage uniforms, equipment, and school facilities responsibly, maintaining records for district and state compliance. Communicate with parents, students, officials, and administrators to provide direction and assistance. Attend meetings and workshops to receive and convey relevant information, while administering first aid and applying pertinent laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Job related experience
- Criminal Background Clearance
- Valid Arizona DPS Level I IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to work extended hours that may include evenings and/or weekends
- Ability to exhibit strong leadership
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to meet deadlines and schedules
- Ability to model sportsmanship and enforce sportsmanlike behavior among students
- Ability to motivate participating student athletes
