Job Summary
Assist in coaching boys basketball at Oak Park High School; support planning and scheduling of in-season practice; work with the athletic director and Head Coach/Sponsor in scheduling interscholastic contests; recommend purchase of equipment, supplies, and uniforms as appropriate; maintain attendance forms, insurance records, and similar paperwork; oversee safety conditions of the facility or area in which assigned sport/activity is conducted; establish performance criteria for eligibility in interscholastic competition; enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior; assist in organizing and supervising a total sports/activity program; demonstrate effective human relations and communication skills; comply with district rules, regulations, and policies; regular and consistent attendance is an essential function; other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Missouri teacher license or substitute certificate issued through DESE.

- Possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and physical attributes necessary to perform the essential functions of the position
