Job Summary
Assistant Baseball Coach at Hilton Head Island High School responsible for developing student-athletes in baseball fundamentals, teamwork, strategy, and conditioning; assist in scheduling contests and practice plans; enforce conduct standards; contribute to safety oversight, equipment recommendations, and administrative duties as directed. Requires coaching experience, sport knowledge, ability to pass background check, and a valid driver’s license; teaching certificate and experience are preferred. Familiarity with South Carolina High School League rules and eligibility is expected; role is part-time temporary and involves coordination with the Athletic Director and school administration.
Required Qualifications
- Previous successful coaching experience in baseball
- Knowledge/background in the assigned sport
- Must be able to pass criminal background check
- Valid drivers license
- Experience with South Carolina High School League rules and eligibility
