Job Summary
Deliver instruction that advances English Language Learners through lesson planning for small groups of varying ages. Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress and quickly implement feedback and goal-setting into daily lesson delivery. Collaborate with teammates in grade-level and subject-level teams while participating in daily, weekly, and quarterly meetings about student achievement. Maintain a classroom culture conducive to student achievement and use data to track progress and constantly improve practice. Embody the mission, vision, and direction of Crescent City Schools, a nonprofit Charter Management Organization operating three PreK-8th grade open-enrollment charter schools. Take on other tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications

- Inspire your students and colleagues
- Have a BA or BS Degree
- Possess Louisiana Teacher Certification in ESL (or equivalent certification in another state)
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- This is an in-person role
