2026-2027 SY - Teacher - Special Education; Free Rent/Utilities - Secondary

Teacher – Special Education at Ramah High School develops and delivers educational services to students with disabilities and those who may not be enrolled due to health or distance factors, implementing IEP goals and planning curriculum and lessons tailored to individual needs. Responsibilities include serving as part of a multidisciplinary team with administrators, families, and specialists; advocating for students; counseling parents; maintaining confidential student records; and performing related duties. The role may involve instructional duties for students with hearing impairment (involving sign language or related communication methods) and travel between sites as needed. The position requires planning and delivering instruction, collaborating with colleagues, and maintaining professional growth in alignment with district policies and Federal/State requirements. The assignment is a 194-day contract with 7.5 hours per day and on-site work at Ramah High School.
