Job Summary
Plan, internalize, and facilitate standards-aligned, rigorous lessons tailored to diverse learning styles while implementing formal and informal assessments to analyze student data and pivot instruction. Establish strong partnerships with families by providing weekly updates on student progress and uphold a positive classroom behavior management system aligned with school-wide character initiatives. Utilize technology effectively as an educational tool and host targeted tutoring sessions to meet individual student needs. Dedicate 40+ hours per week to instruction, meetings, professional development, and school community duties. Partner with SMART Management to foster an inclusive academic environment that balances high academic expectations with strong social-emotional frameworks to develop the whole child.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- Active Florida State Teaching Certification
- Strong classroom management
- Lesson adaptation
- Organization
- Interpersonal communication
- Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
- Prior instructional experience in a K-12 classroom setting
- Familiarity with Florida learning standards and FAST exam preparation
