Job Summary
Supervisor of Student and School Support at Montgomery County Public Schools (Central Office, VA) for the 2026-2027 school year. Leads coordination and supervision of strategies to support positive student behavior, faithful attendance, and academic success; oversees PBIS/MTSS implementation, supervision of Tiered Intervention Specialists, SAP Teams, attendance programs, and professional development; collaborates with district admins to implement equitable practices and data-driven initiatives, analyzes division-wide student data, and supports transitions across grade levels. Requires Virginia teaching license with Administration and Supervision endorsement, a Master’s degree, and at least three years of classroom teaching experience, plus strong leadership, communication, and data-analysis skills.
Required Qualifications
- Hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Administration and Supervision, PreK-12
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution
- Have three years of classroom teaching experience
- Possess superlative leadership abilities
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret data and use problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate ability to effectively give presentations before large groups of people
- Demonstrate ability to maintain an unquestionable degree of confidentiality
- Demonstrate ability to multitask, work with interruptions, and work under pressure
- Demonstrate ability to be dependable, punctual, and complete tasks without direct supervision
- Have three years of building administrator or central office leadership experience
- Possess training and experience in mentoring and coaching school administrators
- Have experience in successfully implementing school-wide programs
- Display a proven track record of improving student achievement and outcomes
- Salary: $92,560.00 - $162,304.52 annually, with benefits; commensurate with experience
