Job Summary
Middle school STEM teacher responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons aligned with district curriculum; develop and implement lesson plans with accommodations for diverse learners; assess student learning, manage classroom behavior, and facilitate extracurricular activities; collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs; communicate with parents and participate in staff development; ensure safety protocols and compliance with Texas Education Agency guidelines; supervise instructional aides and volunteers; promote student growth and development through data-driven instruction and professional practice.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Master degree in content preferred
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
