Job Summary
SPED ECSE Bilingual Teacher for 2026-2027 at Martinez ELC. Responsibilities include planning and delivering instruction aligned to TEA standards in English and Spanish, sheltering instruction across content areas, developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and determining specially designed instruction based on students’ needs. Coordinate with ARD/LPAC processes, translate communications as needed, and collaborate with general education staff. Manage a positive classroom environment, monitor progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain documentation for IEPs, SHARS PCS, and district reporting. Requires bilingual proficiency, strong instructional strategies, and proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft 365, LMS, and ARD/IEP software; travel between campuses may occur. Salary set at 187-day probationary contract with base salary around $66,500, with adherence to the 2025-2026 salary schedule and TRA stipend as applicable. The role emphasizes professional development, PLC participation, and adherence to district policies and state/federal laws.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college
- Texas certification standards required for assignment as set by the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) special Education including bilingual
