Job Summary
Teach a rigorous college preparatory curriculum while designing individualized programs and differentiated strategies for students with IEPs, diagnosed disabilities, and at-risk learners. Provide individual or small group instruction to address specific needs, constantly assess student progress, and use data to drive instructional decisions. Communicate results to families and colleagues while collaborating with general education teachers to plan high-leverage interventions. Model the school's values in all interactions and commit to constant professional growth within a team-oriented culture. This role requires New York State Special Education certification and at least two years of teaching experience. Based in NYC with travel to our schools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- New York State Special Education teacher certification
- At least two years of teaching experience
- Valid driver's license
