Job Summary
Provide direct instruction to students under teacher supervision in English and/or Spanish. Conduct instructional exercises, implement specialized interventions for Newcomers/ELL students, and assist with classroom management. Translate between English and Spanish, prepare instructional materials, and administer scoring for testing instruments. Maintain orderly classrooms, manage ELL equipment inventory, and keep administrative records. Support substitute teachers, monitor student needs, and participate in staff development and departmental meetings. Adapt to changing demands for distance learning instruction.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or two years of study (60 college hours) at an institute of higher learning
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual: English/Spanish (verbal/written) preferred
