Job Summary
Social Worker assists the principal in fostering an optimal educational environment using MTSS-based data-informed practices; coordinates School Safety Program grant activities and SEL universal screening; provides trauma-informed individual and group support; coordinates staff/parent workshops; conducts risk assessments and safety plans; mediates conflicts to support student success; participates in Student Support Teams, Threat Assessment Team, 504, MTSS committees; maintains case records and compliance with policies; requires AZ certification and a Master’s degree in social work; position supports equity-focused, evidence-informed interventions within an educational setting.
Required Qualifications
- Arizona Department of Education Certification (PreK-12 Social Worker or Counselor)
- Master’s degree (required) in area of social work
- Job related experience is required
