Job Summary
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth, enabling students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Requires Bachelor’s degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or training for the subject and level assigned, plus at least one year of student teaching or approved internship. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- Ability to conduct instruction, attend meetings and professional development in a virtual environment
- Experience: At least one-year student teaching or approved internship
