Job Summary
Server/Helper at Licking Heights Local Schools handles cash collection for lunch programs, assists with meal setup and cleanup, helps with stocking and ordering food, and ensures meals meet NSLP reimbursement requirements. Responsibilities include counting daily receipts, processing deposits, restocking milk and supplies, assisting cooks with food preparation under guidance, maintaining accurate daily records, and supporting the Food Service Director with records and procedures for free/reduced/pre-paid/paid students. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years related experience, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; position is full-time and on-site at Pataskala, OH facilities. Works under the supervision of the Food Service Supervisor and aims to support a safe, efficient school food service operation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to two years related experience
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to collect money and log amounts into student accounts
- Ability to assist with meal setup and cleanup
- Ability to assist with ordering food and supplies
- Experience with cash handling procedures and deposits
- Willingness to follow NSLP meal requirements
- Ability to follow tested recipes and cooking directions
- Ability to maintain records as directed by cook
- Ability to restock supplies after shifts
- Ability to assist with monthly inventory reports
- Compliance with ADA requirements and safety regulations
