Job Summary
Secondary MS Teacher – Vocal Music in Oklahoma City Public Schools. Responsible for delivering vocal music instruction, developing lessons aligned with state standards, differentiating instruction for varied pupil needs, maintaining a productive classroom environment, assessing pupil progress, and communicating with parents and staff. Requires Bachelor’s in Education and Oklahoma Teaching Certification in Secondary Education (Music) with ability to contribute to school improvement and participate in district professional development and activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in education or a related field.
- Oklahoma Teaching Certification in Secondary Education in subjects listed below or subjects or Alternative Teaching Certification as approved by Oklahoma State Department of Education.
- Middle Level Music; Music-Middle/Junior High School; Instrumental/General Music; Elementary Education; ability to build HOUSSE in Music.
