2026-2027 School Year Library Media Specialist

Library Media Specialist leads student and staff in effective use of ideas and information, with responsibilities including reading advocacy, teaching with a broad range of resources, collaboration with educators to design and evaluate inquiry-based learning experiences, library management services (staff development, budgeting, collection development), program planning, and advocacy/marketing of library programs. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Education, ND teaching license, and a K-12 media certification (LM02) or plan to complete, with at least one year of teaching experience. The position supports literacy, information literacy, technology integration, and curricular leadership within Fargo Public Schools.
