Job Summary
School Psychologist for Cabarrus County Schools. Engages in consultation, counseling, crisis response, psychoeducational evaluations, staff training, and collaboration with teachers, families, and district teams within a school setting. Position requires knowledge of MTSS, NASP Practice Model, and educational/psychological assessments; must possess NASP/APA/NCATE-aligned degree (M.A., Ed.S., or Ph.D.) and a valid North Carolina school psychology license. Responsibilities include conferences with parents, ongoing professional development, and participation in problem-solving teams to support student mental health and educational outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- School psychology degree (M.A., Ed.S. or Ph.D.) from an approved NASP, APA or NCATE program
- Must hold a valid North Carolina license in school psychology
