Job Summary
To help insure the safety and security of the school building during the time when students are in the building. Responsibilities include patrolling halls, addressing unauthorized persons, monitoring SAC class and cafeteria, assisting with canine inspection, bus duty, and supporting at-risk students with behavioral needs. Requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task, knowledge of behavior and social skill intervention techniques, and training in CPI or other crisis intervention program. Ed/Certification: High school diploma or GED; paraprofessional certification; some college/technical training preferred.
