Job Summary
Provides a security presence at the school complex by walking around the facility and monitoring activities and students; reports unauthorized personnel to the office; monitors campus activities to ensure student safety and identify safety violations; diffuses situations among students; reinforces positive social behavior; performs minor housekeeping/groundskeeping to keep the environment free of litter or dangerous situations; performs other duties as assigned; supports safety of students and school community.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- May require crossing guard training
- Valid DPS Arizona FPCC (Fingerprint Clearance Card)
- Basic safety and security knowledge
- Customer service and communication skills
- Ability to monitor and report safety issues
- Ability to perform housekeeping and groundskeeping tasks
- Duties include monitoring student activities and diffusing situations as needed
