Part-time Preschool Teacher Aide at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic School (Diocese of Joliet) supports classroom instruction and the school’sCatholic mission. Responsibilities include instructing children in assigned subjects, guiding learning, preparing materials, assisting with individual students, supervising students, maintaining discipline, attending faculty meetings and in-service training, and communicating professionally with administrators, pastors, teachers, parents, and prospective parents. The role requires an Associate degree and prior experience; there is emphasis on implementing the educational and spiritual philosophy of the Catholic Church and completing required professional development. The position also involves ensuring the well-being and nurturing of students, contributing to a safe and supportive school environment, and performing other duties as assigned by the principal or pastor.
