2026-2027 Principal - Harding Avenue Elementary School

The Harding Avenue Elementary School Principal will coordinate administrative oversight and plan all phases of instructional leadership for the school, including educational programming, administration, budgetary planning, discipline, and family engagement. Lead the school’s instructional leadership, supervise educators, hire faculty and staff, ensure a productive learning environment, collaborate with teachers, students, and families, connect with students during school functions, enforce policies, participate in parent meetings, oversee annual needs assessments and school improvement plans, manage supplies and equipment, oversee budgeting and program expenditures, represent the school in community activities, and maintain compliance with applicable laws and accreditation requirements.– Must hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or Curriculum and Instruction, and a postgraduate license with administration and supervision endorsement; Virginia license with Administration and Supervision: PreK-12 eligibility; prior experience as a building administrator and in implementing educational programs; preferred experience includes three years of teaching and three years of assistant principal/principal roles; salary range $92,560.00 - $162,304.52 annually.
