Job Summary
Assist the school principal in overall administration of instructional program and campus level operations. Coordinate assigned student activities and services. Work with teachers to ensure effective instructional strategies are implemented; participate in development/evaluation of educational programs; promote technological integration; foster a positive, caring climate; contribute to campus improvement planning; assist in interviewing, selecting, and orienting new staff; supervise operations in the principal's absence; help plan daily school activities, schedules, and support services; monitor student attendance and performance; manage budget requests and procurements; support district policies and safety procedures; participate in professional development and engage with the school community to meet student learning goals.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Texas assistant principal or other appropriate Texas certificate
- Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation & Support System (T-TESS) appraiser
- Two years experience as a classroom teacher
