Job Summary
Plan and cooperatively develop a program of study meeting diverse student needs; assist in establishing department or grade-level curriculum objectives and the comprehensive plan for implementation and evaluation; create a classroom environment conducive to learning; guide learning toward curriculum goals; employ instructional methods and materials aligned with objectives; assess student progress and provide reports; diagnose learning strengths/weaknesses and involve District specialists as needed; counsel with colleagues, students, and/or parents; assist administration in enforcing policies and rules governing student life; supervise support personnel and volunteers; utilize technology in teaching; maintain accurate records; perform Medicaid administrative claims activities as directed; adhere to Ethics of the Education Profession in Florida; participate in school improvement initiatives; recognize distress or abuse indicators and act accordingly; establish appropriate testing environment and test security; out-of-field opportunities may be explored via out-of-field agreement. Locations include Lehigh Acres, Florida. Hints indicate Full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid Florida teaching certificate covering appropriate area of responsibility.
