Job Summary
Pre-K Teaching Assistant position in Webster Central School District. Collaborate with teachers to support students with instructional projects and provide assistance with health-related activities, including feeding, dressing, transfers, and toileting. Support social emotional learning in a play-based environment. Requires NYS Certification as a Teaching Assistant (Level I-III) or NYS teaching certification. Emphasizes teamwork, classroom management, technology proficiency, organization, and time management. Required Qualifications
- Must have NYS Certification as a Teaching Assistant - Level I, Level II or Level III or NYS certification as a teacher
- Works well on a team
- Experience in an elementary setting preferred
- Possess excellent classroom management skills
- Capable of lifting and supporting students with toileting when necessary
- Experience supporting young students in social emotional learning in a play-based environment
- Exemplify the WCSD vision, Core Beliefs, and Essential Skills
- Must have a professional repertoire including but not limited to organization, time management, technology skills and approach
Desired Qualifications
- NYS Certification as a Teaching Assistant - Level I, II or III or NYS certification as a teacher
