Job Summary
Provide after-school care for PreK-8 students: ensure safety, sign children in/out, create a fun, enriching and safe environment, plan activities for all ages, interact positively with children and families, work independently and as part of a team, and perform other duties as assigned by the principal or pastor. Must have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 16, and obtain Protecting God’s Children Certificate and Background Check. Prior childcare/education experience is preferred. Schedule includes after-school hours: Tuesday/Thursday 2:30-6:00; Monday-Friday 2:30-4:30. Hourly range $15.00-$18.00, final rate based on experience and licensure.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old
- Protecting God's Children Certificate and Background Check required
- A background in education and/or college course(s) in recreation education is a plus but not required
