Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist will provide professional services to assist students in enhancing their occupational performance areas. Responsibilities include planning and directing educational activities, evaluating student capacities, assisting with daily needs, using adaptive equipment, participating in IEP team meetings, documenting services for Medicaid billing, and engaging in district training. Candidates must possess a BA or MA in occupational therapy, hold a current license or be eligible for licensure, and have at least three years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- BA or MA degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
- Currently licensed and/or eligible for licensure from the South Carolina board of Occupational Therapist Examiners
- Minimum of three years experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with school age children preferred
- Bilingual skills preferred
