Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist will provide professional services to assist students in overcoming occupational performance deficiencies, utilizing evaluations of their physical and sensory skills. Responsibilities include planning and directing education activities, assisting students in a variety of settings, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, documenting services, and adhering to safety procedures and district policies. A graduate degree in occupational therapy and a valid South Carolina license are required, along with at least three years of experience in the field.
Required Qualifications
- BA or MA degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
- Currently licensed and/or eligible for licensure from the South Carolina board of Occupational Therapist Examiners.
- Minimum of three years experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with school age children preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
