2026-2027 Middle School Reading Teacher - 7th Grade at Lakeview Middle School

Teach 7th-grade reading in a middle-school setting with a focus on developing literacy skills. Responsibilities include participating in curriculum review and design, employing a variety of effective instructional strategies aligned with lesson objectives, diagnosing and evaluating student abilities and progress, monitoring progress and adjusting instruction accordingly, planning a program of study that meets individual needs, creating a classroom environment conducive to learning, assessing student accomplishments and providing progress reports, and referring students for ESL/Reading services as provided by the Park Hill School District. Reports to the Principal or another supervisor. Terms include 190 days for new teachers and 186 days for returning teachers with benefits per district agreement. Missouri certification is required.
